Shufflers & Goppers

I really don't know what it is with people today. They just seem to be walking about in a trance most of the time. Especially at the supermarket.

Today was no exception. In the Tescos in Rugby today, zoefruitcake and I needed to navigate a shop full of shuffling gawpers like in some weird Krypton Factor cum Day of the Dead assault course. This seems to happen

For an old biddy with a bad hip I can move really quickly . . . . especially if I spot a bargain!!! And in a craft/wool shop I'm like a tornado!!!

ps I can make more headbands but I'm limited to certain colours as I used Stylecraft Gypsy which is 100% nylon and I have to get hold of discontinued stock because, in their wisdom, the company no longer make it. I've got that dark blue, two shades of a rust mixture, a mixed green, a pale blue, white and pink mixture, a light beige, a dark fawn and a purple! (Just in case you want to butter up the future M-i-L)!!! (I'm making plans to make wedding hair decorations too) Hint, hint!!! :-D Drawing the line at the crochet lace wedding dress though - the last one I made was about 40 years ago and it was so much work I vowed never again!
