The sun isn't even up yet here but I am so excited I can't sleep. One thing about the net, things can happen fast. We have our airline tickets and hotels confirmed. One of you suggested we not buy an open train ticket and we decided to follow that advise. It cut our overall cost by almost $200. Thanks for the tip! That's why I love lj so much

Hey, how'd you get your passport so fast? I had to wait like a month and half for mine when I went abroad last summer.

I don't have it yet. I sent in the application overnight mail on the 17th, the morning after we decided to go. The Post Office person who took the package said she thought I would be OK and that the passport would make it by the time we leave on the 23rd of March. All I can do is trust in our government..... now you have me worried.......

definatly travel now while you have time, it's amazing how adult life creeps up on you. try to hit se asia and maybe costa rica sometime as well. you work long hours so when you get vacation make the most of it.
