i, er, have to learn to crochet

see... i was in a bookstore this weekend and, along with three science mags (all nicely dogeared and highlighted and scribbled in the margins of, thank you) i acquired (ominous music here): the "creepy cute crochet" bookdo i know how to crochet? i do not. could i resist the tiny vampires and cthulu and THE CUTEST LITTLE REAPER OMG? i could not.

I really want that book. I've had my eye on it for about a month, but I'm broke. Also, I've crocheted, like, once before.

Oh!!!! You so weren't kidding about cutest little reaper EVAH! evereverever. I was thinking the front cover was cute and fun, and then the teeny, smiley Cthulu was cute and then the reaper popped up and I died. Right there. Died of cuteness.

Which is a remarkably efficient way for him to do his job, come to think of it.
