I was recently informed by a friend that an ex-girlfriend of mine is going through a breakup. Her boyfriend had broken up with her and moved out. This is also the guy who she pretty much left me for, though we certainly had a ton of issues and should have broken up anyway. This was in the spring of 2003, just a little over four years ago

Hey, it's probably no secret that I'm the elder - and only - sibling of the infamous Pete in Dee's life. No, I wasn't upset when they broke up, no I don't want them back together. The relationship was a great starter relationship, and that's really about it, IMO.

Still, I see Dee as a younger sister, as if she was a SIL, even though she's not and won't be ever. And I'm SO glad she married you. You guys are AWESOME together, and I'm glad you've gained personal growth in the time she's known you, because she's reaping the benefits! I'm sorry I couldn't make the wedding, cuz I really would have liked to see who she's marrying. I'm just glad she's married to someone who would write this!
