But the Jewish people dont see Jesus as the son of god and only as a prophet and are still waiting for the son of god to come while chirsitians are waiting for his 2nd coming. So yea even though jesus was a jew, the chrisitian faith broke off of judiaism to be able to follow him like that. I dunno if that makes sense but yeah.

By the way...Jesus was of the Jewish lineage, not the faith. Real Jews who go to a synagogue and all that don't think Jesus was the Messiah. Jesus knew he was the Messiah. Therein lies the problem to your argument.

but when did jesus GO to his local rabbi? if i rememvber right, they all came to him and tried to discredit him, right? so that doesnt answer the wwjd thing. in fact, the wwjd thing is impossible, because we can never BE jesus, we can just try to do as he did and try to be like him.

the phrase 'being more christ-like' usually refers to loving one another, and treating people how you wanna be treated. so yea, go christians! go jews! go whoever adopts that idea, cuz yay.
