Yeah, my favorite Final Fantasy was VII, because I played it first, and it slightly edges out IX in my opinion, but IX's world was the most magical indeed. I loved every part about it, from Alexandria, to Burmecia, to Treno and the sort.

EXACTLY. Advent Children wasn't bad, but it paled in comparison to the original, which was a work of art. Crisis Core was merely okay, which didn't fit it for a Final Fantasy game.
I love the feel of it too! The knights, princesses and all that. They're awesome.

I liked FFVII until Square made so many compilations for it and it wasn't funny anymore :|
