I read this all in one go and I have to say I was left speechless...It's been a loooong time since I've read a fic like this and as much as my heart didn't want to see the events play out to the end I couldn't stop reading. I loved it <3

This was DAMN good psychological torment. I knew I wouldn't get a happy resolution, the breadth of how eerie this was at times just left me so unsettled that I just knew the end was going to fuck with me, and still I bulldozed through because here'sJohnny!Cas was way too engrossing to leave alone. Now I'm in pain and all I want to do is go back and read it again from the beginning, like a sick sick puppy.

Basically, your story is the house in your story. *twilight zone theme*

Also, auto-kudos, always, for creepy Supernatural-fic. Because, you know, the entire show being an ode the the horror genre, you'd think we'd get more of that.

I really can't quite describe in words how amazing this story was. I'm balling my eyes out, and I'm suffering from a massive headache because of these tears and I've got to say, out of the thousands of amazing fanfics that I have been fortuitous enough to stumble across, your story is by far the best I've ever read. You really captured the horrific atmosphere well and I omg, I really can't be coherent with this headache I've got now, and my nose is blocked from the crying and this was just beautiful.

thank you so much for birthing this piece of art. you are an amazing author.

This fic was absolutely amazing. I checked it out first of all because I knew it had to be inspired by House of Leaves just judging by the summary, and let me say that you managed to echo the level of creepiness in that book perfectly. It takes a lot to creep me out if I'm just reading, but read parts of this at work, in a crowded room, and still felt on edge. You just set up such a suffocating atmosphere as Castiel was caught in the house and in his own madness, and it made the fic gripping and almost impossible to put down.

And yeah, I almost teared up at this, particularly the part where Sam is talking to Castiel about all the things Dean had said the last night that he was alive, because holy shitI can't imagine how much work went into working through some of these descriptions, to get them to evoke just the right emotion, and it turned out beautifully. (I stalked you to your tumblr and I seriously can't believe you're eighteen and you wrote something like this. I'm six years older than you and couldn't hope to compare ( ... )
