Following in the footsteps of, er... Dave

Traditionally I talk a good fight, but, aided by no Warcraft for three weeks now (cigarettes: you're next!) for once I've actually gotten off my arse and made some progress on something. So, with aid of blurry, badly lit photos, I will get you up to speed.

Our story so far... )

I have a garage and a shed - neither of which, however, are very local to you. You're still more than welcome to use them however. Actually I recommend the garage as the shed is tiny, on a slope, has switchback floors, and probably contains pan-dimensional booby traps.

Pan dimensiol booby traps? Bah. Are there spiders?

Definitely not the shed then! Who do you think weaves the pan-dimensional booby traps?

The garage has a few cobwebs lurking near roof level - it is a garage after all, and they come with the territory. I have a home-built water gun from years ago that would double pretty well as a flame thrower if you felt you needed a backup measure.

I'm ok for gardens thanks, I'd just like somewhere undercover I can leave things to dry without worrying about fumes or rain.

It will hopefully be a brass-and-mahogany (effect) steampunky monitor.

Not really missing Warcrack yet, turns out there are lots of things that are better :)

The smoking thing might take a while, but I'm kind of in a better mood now than I have been in... years, really, so we'll see.
