Oh gosh! Thank you for the lovely comment, you've made me melt, I'm afraid, so I'll have to type this reply by dripping on the keys. I'm so glad you picked up on the bittersweet connotations! I was thinking that the whole time I wrote the end actually, hence the painfully ironic last line. By my figuring it would probably only be two weeks or so until Nibelheim, too bad Zack won't have that time after all...

I'm not sure if you meant that as adorable, or if you were insinuating that Zack is an adorable dork--if that is what you meant then I completely agree. Zack, the cutest dork around.

I'm glad you enjoyed it even if it wasn't you're thing. That's the problem with fandom isn't it? People have brains that are warped in totally different ways. So for me reading MikoNoDa, who everyone in this fandom seems to love--and is a plenty fine writer, makes me want to shoot myself in the head. I suppose that's why we all need to learn to write ourselves and spread the cheer. Or get our boyfriends to do it for us, wait that's just me.

It's pretty awesome of him. The back story being that he's going into video game design and was the one that got me into video games again in the first place. He was also the one trying to get me into some of my fandoms, with all of his sideways comments about Axel and Roxas or Sora and Riku. Then when I played Crisis Core and went OMIGOD Zack and Cloud! He just shrugged and said,"I've shipped it since I was nine and playing FFVII." So mostly I just beg him to write things for me until he caves, he seems to enjoy it doesn't particularly seem to mind so it's all good. He actually does draw slash for me, or rather he used to more than he currently does but same difference. He's also the one who gets to listen to the majority of my fanfiction rants. This all comes of loving a shameless fangirl I suppose...

Metaphorical boner indeed, if only all boyfriends wrote slash, it's a fairly large turn on.
