Summary: Three days of Peace and Music.

As much as Dean had been looking forward to this, willingly braving the traffic jams and masses of people converging on the farm for this festival, there was one thing he was truly regretting about coming to Woodstock, and it wasn’t the hippies.

The weather was crap, and his baby was covered in mud.

He gave the hood of the Impala an affectionate pat. “Don’t worry, baby. Once this is done, I’ll clean you up and pamper you a little.”

Still, mud-covered and without the careful shine Dean normally kept her in, his baby was still the most impressive thing out here. He could see more than one person pause and give her an appreciative look. “You just soak up the worship that is your due. I’m going to check this place out.”

Dean would be careful not to let her out of his sight. Three days of peace and music, sure, but Dean wouldn’t be taking any chances, not with his baby. He wandered off towards some people who, from the glazed and peaceful looks on their faces, had some very good drugs.

One of them, shorter than him with dark hair and wildly dilated blue eyes, waved and offered him a joint. “Hello there, friend! My name is Cas, and I am organizing an orgy for later. Would you care to join us?”

“I’m good,” Dean replied, smiling. “I’m a bit busy. Hunting demons, you know how it is.”

Often, Dean found it far more entertaining to remain sober and say crazy shit to those under the influence just to see how they react. He made his fun where he could, because John Winchester had an unnerving habit of always catching him when he was on something.

Cas nods peaceably. “As you do. There’s a really shifty girl over to the right.” He pointed to the left, then frowned at his hands for a moment and swapped to the right. “She’s the one with the purple hair. Name’s Meg.”

Dean glanced over to where Cas was indicting to a group of girls. None of whom had purple hair. He nodded at Cas anyway. “Thanks, man. You’ve been a lot of help.”

His stoned companion grinned and pushed the joint at him again. “You take this, my friend, and keep up the good work. The world is a better place with you ridding us of foul, purple-haired monsters of evil. We’re all about the peace, love and goodness.”

Dean nodded. “Yeah, I’ll take care of it.”

Cas waved and wandered off. Dean grinned and approached the group of girls.

“Hello there, ladies.” He grinned his most charming grin. “I was wondering if you might be able to help me locate someone for my buddy, over there. He’s very confused right now and has lost a new friend of his. Name’s Meg, purple hair?”

They glanced amongst each other and shook their heads.

“Well, darn.” Dean snapped his fingers and sighed. “I guess I’ll have to keep looking. He’s very taken with her. I’m just trying to help the poor guy out, you know how it is...”

He started to walk off when one of them called after him, “Hey, wait! We’ll help you look for her.”

“Will you?” Dean took her hands in his and smiled. “You are all so kind. My name’s Dean Winchester. That sweet looking Impala over there, she’s mine.”

They giggled and pulled him off in search of the elusive Meg.

It was going to be a good three days, weather aside.
