"Up to anything interesting?" Henry asked from the doorway. He'd brought coffee; he almost wondered if she'd recognize him without it.

Even if the answer was 'yes,' Cindy would pretend not to be able to, just to give Henry a hard time.

"Kind of," Cindy replied, looking up and giving Henry a slow smile. "But I'm very happy to put it aside to talk to the much more interesting person I find at my door."

"I'll do my best not to be boring," Henry promised, with a smile of his own. He came in, took a seat in the chair opposite Cindy's desk, and passed a coffee over to her. "So, we made it through another term among the insanity."

"Says you," Cindy teased, bringing her cup up to her face with a happy smile. She loved the scent of fresh-brewed coffee. "I still have one class to go. There's always a chance something could go drastically wrong."
