Even though the security girl had gone to fetch the patient, Suchong had still sent Chase out to go track them down - probably to make sure they didn't screw up or something. With a faint twist to his lips, he'd complied, silently leaving the room (Suchong looked like he wanted to finish setting up ... whatever the hell it was he was doing ... on his own) to find the pair on their way back from the patient's room.

He'd read both their files - the security girl's (limited, general, What You Need To Know About Your Co-Workers) and the patient's (aggressive, angry, violent, loud). She should have been able to take care of him easily, along with the numerous sedatives she was probably granted for the task. If not, then she wasn't fit for her job.

This task ... whatever Suchong was setting up, Chase wondered vaguely if it was similar to what had happened to him. Would he get to find out how that damned doctor had gotten the obedience into his skull, his mind, his bloodstream, forced him to obey regardless of what he really wanted to do ( ... )

She remembered this guy from his first day, loud (painfully so she found when he yelled in her ear) and obnoxious. Honestly? She thought this guy was a pain in the ass and wasn't going to be too broken up if something particularly twisted happened to him. (So she told herself. Fuck having a conscience.)So she hadn't been overly kind in dragging his ass down to therapy. In fact she'd sped most of the way ( ... )

Anger, righteous and hot boiled its way through Squalo's system. Not as much as he would imagine his boss capable, but still, a veritable amount-- he'd been wronged, lashed down in such a way. First of all, who did these people think they were? He was the Sword Emperor, not some crazy little shit that didn't know his ass from his armpit. The silver-haired swordsman believed he was at least a little saner than thatOn the subject of sanity, perhaps his basis was a little shaky-- he'd been capable of taking countless lives in the name of the Vongola, in the name of his boss-- but even so, he'd never expected this. Some dirty trick by a rival family or the other, maybe, he filed it away as. It was wrong, and it was a blow to his precious pride ( ... )

As the dust and wind settled around them, Chase lifted an eyebrow. She'd been moving too fast to be normal, and from the windswept and whiplashed look of the white-haired man she was dragging behind her, she'd been doing it for a while. He shrugged slightly at her almost whining question and turned slightly, as if to head back to the therapy rooms.

"Yes, but the good doctor sent me out to make sure you hadn't screwed up and lost hold of him," he said dryly, giving Squalo a once-over before returning his look to Daphne. "Couldn't find a way to shut him up? Shame." A shame and he meant it. This one talked more than any of the monks, even that certain brat when he'd gone evil - and that was an accomplishment. It didn't help that Squalo was loud as well, and drew out his words - why he felt the need to do that was lost to Chase. To sound impressive, or some ridiculous dialect. Inexplicably stupid ( ... )

She ignored the crack at her ability to do her job, (honestly, the fact that none of the other security complained about her meant that she thought she was at least decently stable in her position) only because she hadn't exactly been nice on arrival.

"If I shut him up, then he wouldn't be conscious." Daphne retorted, yanking harder on her captive as he went on his merry ranting way. Stupid sexist loud idiot. "And as far as I know, the doctors like them awake for their treatments."

"And he's right. KNOCK IT OFF." The woman said angrily as she pulled Squalo after her. If he would stop, then she at least would be able to maintain coherent thought.

"You're driving us, and everyone else, crazy. In their case, crazier."
