"Bit early to be presuming things, isn't it--" Sokaro broke off a moment to look Lloyd up and down, visually appraising him before his lips quirked into a shadow of his usual humor. "--Prancy McQueer? Nobody's ass is safe from me. You go on and remember that." And that said, he promptly swatted Yatilla across the side of the head, motioning for Lloyd to fork over the pills.

"And take your motherfucking meds, kid. There's a line between tough and fucking stupid." As he spoke, his arms went around Yatilla's waist, loosely for now but fully prepared to hold the kid down if he had to.
