Sleeping as he was, Tyki was silent when Kagari opened the door - but the second she touched his shoulder his eyes were open, gleams of gold in the darkness of the room. It took him a moment to register that it was a patient, naked as she was, and not a threat at the moment, before he cracked a slight grin, her voice finally slotting into place in his mind.

"Nice timing." He pushed himself up onto his elbows, not entirely resisting the urge to take a quick glance at her curves, because he was, at heart, still who he was. "Wake-up call for any particular reason?" Their discussions tended to slip his mind - as did a lot of things, these days, which was starting to make him angry.

She narrowed her eyes, her fingers tightening their grip by a fraction. Kagari flushed faintly and resisted the urge to punch Tyki. No matter how good it would feel, he had no clue she'd been a he and 'his' pride was being tarnished. But if he kept it up she was going to do it anyways. "You forgot. I told you I'd explain what I found when I tailed the nurse."

She kept her voice low to prevent the intercom from picking her up. "...I forgot laundry day was today." She pinched the bridge of her nose with her freehand and backed up to let him sit up completely. She noted his scars yet made no comment about them.

Tyki saw the little hints that promised he was about to get a singularly unpleasant punch to the face if he didn't shape up and look somewhere else, so he snickered and closed his eyes, sitting up and (politely) covering himself with his arms as he shifted his legs off the bed and set his elbows on his knees. Right. The nurse. The memory snapped back into place and he looked at the far corner, struggling to not look back.

"Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Sit down. Tell me what you found." Part of him couldn't resist, though, and as she shifted he snuck a glance at her from the side. Scars and tattoos were no matter; she was well-built. Which also meant muscle, and potential broken noses if he kept this up, so the sneaking glance was kept a glance.

If she weren't used to the embarrassment of laundry day, Kagari would have set Tyki on fire with little remorse. The snicker almost got him the promised charring anyways. She sat down slowly, hesitating for a moment before she spoke up again. "She goes into the library, I don't know why. Yet."

The Sekirei had the patience to keep following her every night until she knew. The risks were acceptable in her eyes. "It's possible she's going for the sewer below." It would be difficult to burn the remains if they were waterlogged. "But have you noticed something? Some of us remained abilities for a time...it never went away."

She drew her hand up away from the both of them and gathered fire above her palm. The ball of flame, small in size and power swirled at her command before she banished the fire, a bit of smoke rising from her fingers.
