"I must still be learning the normal procedures here."

The pen in his hand worked along the dossier page for a few more moments - he was scribbling something out very thoroughly, given the quick, repeated movements of his hand - before being slid out of sight, into a pants pocket, this time. Then, the paper itself slid under one arm, nestled neatly between his sleeve and chest.

"Do you think it makes a difference? It looks like you had time to eat and dress, before I got here. Besides, there's nothing else for you to do in this wing. A surprise shouldn't harm you any."

And, with that having been said, he advanced close enough to lay a hand against Lavi's shoulder. The move was open and quite deliberate, and it came along with his free hand gesturing towards the door.

"Now, come. We'll talk in one of the therapy rooms, here."
