Still ... he knew that it was basically impossible for him to use any of his typical abilities here. That he had caused enough bloodshed and hatred in himself to bring any of his Black side to light was a little disconcerting. But it wasn't too problematic; it wasn't as if he was going to go completely berserk and start beating people to death with their own spines. No, that was ... in the past.
And mildly sobering.
"You're taking this better than I thought you might." Tyki sat down on the bed next to his roommate and pulled on his shirt, carefully avoiding the cigarette in the process.

"So no retribution? This day just keeps getting better." Tyki reached out to try and take back what was his. "Although I've got the feeling that the Walker boy's not going to be so forgiving as you. Or the other General, really." At least it hadn't been put out, although he wasn't going to put it past the boy. "So are you going to try and take me out while I'm unconscious? Make a plan with the others? Storm the cell and bring me down, three against one?"
He said it all with a smile too human and friendly on his face. But damn it, he wanted his cigarette back.

His grin twisted a little, less cheerful than before and more threatening, although not by much.
"You think I deserved what happened to me, right? Why the hell shouldn't he have deserved that kind of retribution?" Tyki snapped his hand out to try and steal back the cigarette, ignoring the comments on the flavor. It was shit, yes, but it was still a smoke.

And then he laughed.
It was real laughter, genuine and fully amused. He leaned away from Lavi and kept on laughing, holding his cigarette just off the bed so it didn't burn anything and the ashes didn't drop onto his chest.
"You never let me down, do you, Bookman?" he said when the laughter had died down into snickering. "You and the rest of the Exorcists. Just when I think things are getting boring, you make it interesting again. Now I can't wait to see what you do for revenge. It's gotta be one hell of a wild plan."
Tyki took a long drag on the cigarette and, still grinning, let the smoke out in a lazy cloud. This was turning out to be such a fantastic day.

Ah, it didn't matter. He'd never been that good at history, anyway.
"You look like shit, boy. Someone break your hands again?" Tyki leaned back and lay on the end of the bed, his ponytail falling over the side of the mattress. "Or are you just sulking?"
