I have no idea if you know or care anything for ballet, but when I saw the wind-up Liechtenstein I immediately thought of the doll Coppélia, and Switzerland popping out of a cuckoo-clock house to shoot people is... kind of remarkably in keeping with the personality type of the character in the ballet who built Coppélia (to the point that this is now affecting my Coppélia headcanon). Thank you for making my inner ballet nerd so happy!

Also I see have been beaten to declaring my love for the mechanical kitties, but
/loves the kitties so much.

Here's a short summary, in case you're interested~ it's one of the best ballets I know for steampunk, I got to perform it when I was younger and a few like-minded friends and I were so excited when we finally saw the set for Dr Coppelius's workshop - elaborate clockworks, dolls (to try to bring almost to life), mystery trinkets filling every shelf, potions, a hint of magic... actually I think doing that ballet might have been a lot of what got me into this in the first place.
