Momo was getting antsy. Perhaps everyone had decided not to come after all and she was going to be stuck in the bar by herself. Which would be tragic, though admittedly she could hold it over that Renji's head for the rest of his existence!

Chickening out after he had insulted her height no less! Vertically challenged! Not tiny! Really! That was just the way that it was. She took a sip of her drink and looked over the crowd carefully. She had no idea when someone was going to show up. At the very least she was counting on Matsumoto to make an appearance. The woman never turned down a chance for a good drink.

She would only secretly admit to practically bouncing in her seat when she caught sight of Rukia. She owed Ishida whatever drink he wanted and perhaps more than one for getting her to come to the bar.

She waved and turned on her brightest grin.

"Rukia! Over here!"

Walking past several booths, Uryuu caught rapid movement from the corner of his eye. The arm that waved above the crowd was attached to a pretty girl with dark hair and a big smile. She wasn't looking in their direction but it was easy for the pilot to recognize Momo, having spoken to her several times through Gotei's communication system. If she was trying to flag someone down, that meant the others were on their way as well? Unless she was trying to get the bartender's attention to order another drink..

Eyes following the same path as Momo's, Uryuu focused on Rukia Kuchiki's petite form hovering near the entrance. Apparently she'd taken their words into consideration after all. Which meant that he should greet her-- but only after he greeted Hinamori, since he'd sighted her first.

A stray chair blocking his path, Uryuu delicately pushed it aside and approached Momo. She was distracted, and he used the opportunity to tap her shoulder from behind.

"I'd say our plan was a success, wouldn't you Hinamori?"

"Well, I guess it doesn't matter that much," she muttered, pressing her hand to Renji's shoulder and pausing, eyes to the floor, before she heard her name called, a familiar voice no less. Blinking once, she slipped her hand off of his shoulder to wave awkwardly at Momo ( ... )

Ichigo didn't need much of an excuse to go to the bar. When he was unhappy.

He wasn't exactly unhappy after what happened with Rukia. Last night. But Momo had doubted his ability to drink, and he never backed down from a challenge. Which was why he was walking into the bar right now, glancing around the room for a familiat head of dark, bunned hair -- wait. Was that Ishida with Momo? And Rukia?

Gaping, he paused in the doorway, only moving once a group of partygoers rammed into him from behind, nudging him rather violently out of the way.

That woke Ichigo up. "Hey, watch where the fuck you're going," he growled, storming over to Momo, Ishida, and Rukia by the bar. He didn't want to get in a fight just yet, not while he still didn't know what the hell all three of them were doing. In a bar. All together.

"Yo," he said rather unceremoniously as he approached, coming up behind Rukia, resisting the urge to put an arm around her.

Momo jumped a foot. Litterly. A whole foot. Which was about one fourth of her size. She gasped, whipped around hand reaching for the knife she had hidden away before she realized that it was Ishida.

Then she settled for huffing.

"Don't do that!" She told him, blinking rapidly. She jumped easily. All right... so she jumped easily a lot of the time, mostly when in bars when strange men tried to group you for no reason.

It wasn't like she had any boobs.

She grinned when his comment registered! "It did! I owe you a drink!"

She turned when Rukia said hello. "I owe you a drink to," she pointed at Rukia and then blinked at Ichigo. Everyone was coming it seemed. It cheered her up wonderfully.

She pointed at Ichigo.

"You can buy men a drink, however!"

Because she was pretty sure he owed her one. And if he didn’t… he could still buy her one.

She beamed at them and sat back happily. Now the fun could start.

Well. It was good to know even diminutive Momo was prepared in case of emergency. Her reflexes certainly seemed to be in working order.

"My apologies. I wasn't trying to scare you."

Returning Rukia's curt greeting with a nod and giving Ichigo what he considered to be a diluted version of his usual glare (he was trying to be...civil), Uryuu turned his attention back to Hinamori.

"I appreciate your offer for the drink~ perhaps later on. I'm not very thirsty. Unless--"

Here Uryuu paused, casting a glance over his shoulder to find Tatsuki, who'd been standing there moments before. Now the spot behind him was empty. He wanted to think it wasn't like her to go off without saying anything, but experience had taught him better.

"Nevermind. I suppose I'll be indulging after all...Put my drink on Kurosaki's tab."

Well, that was the best greeting he was ever going to get. Momo had bullied him into buying her a drink, Ishida looked mildly constipated, and Rukia gave him a glare.

Typical.

"One round," he said, more to placate Momo than anything. A concession, because he really didn't want to argue with her right now. She had some strange fucking logic. Unfortunately, that meant Ishida just got a free drink, but it was a small sacrifice to make.

Pausing to glance down at Rukia -- she was highly uncomfortable, and a part of him felt a bit bad for her, even while the rest of him just called her socially retarded -- he subconsiously placed a hand on the small of her back, and whispered, "Surprised you came."

Motioning to the bartender, Ichigo leaned against the counter and ordered a beer. He'd bee needing it.

Momo grinned a bit wider at Ichigo when he agreed to buy a round of drinks for her and Ishida. She patted the spot next to her and motioned Rukia over.

"Rukia grab a seat babe." Really she was in high spirts again. "Ichigo, get Rukia something to." The girl needed a drink, really she did. Momo was determined to get her one. One way or another Rukia was going to at least have one drunk.

Bar rules.

She turned and grinned up at Ishida for a moment. "You gonna play Drunken darts with me tonight?" She quirked a brow up at him.

Fun times were to be had. Really.

"One would actually have to get drunk to do that," Uryuu took the seat on Momo's other side, leaving enough space for Tatsuki to sit once she returned. "But I suppose it's a possibility."

He was deadly accurate with targets-- it'd be best to let Hiamori have her fun with the lieutenant before showing her up. As for the getting drunk thing...

"Kurosaki. Don't get me anything too strong. I've got a practice run tomorrow."

Momo paused, blinking at the person who had just walked in for several moments before grinning widely. She turned to Ishida.

"How about we go get our drinks and make Ichigo fork over the money afterwards?" Her grin widened. "Besides I think someone else who could play darts with us just walked in. We should go recruit him shouldn't we?"

She glanced around, unable to find Abarai. "Especially since your lieutenant seems to be... chickening out!"

Hitsugaya had shown up, now he was going to have fun. One way or another!

Kurosaki would be slow in performing the simple task of retrieving drinks.

Sliding awkwardly out of the booth, he turned his eyes to where the dart board was located. He was curious to see who Hinamori considered a suitable replacement for the Seven's absentee second-in-command. No one was there yet, which meant that the new arrival must be near the front door...?

Seeing no one he recognized, he turned back to the small woman besides him.

"I wasn't aware of anyone else's arrival? Who are you referring to?"

Upon his arrival, Rukia's impulse was to ignore he was there until he got so close that she couldn't really use that option. Her greeting had been less than cordial but that was normal. At his reply, she both refrained from glaring at him or looking at him at all ( ... )
