This was wonderful. I love and hate the way Atlantis makes us want to write about the injust deaths *lesigh* but it's good for writing and reading! Nice job. And excellent 1st/2nd person.

OCs and gen! See, Fifi, this is what I have come to. Ha! I actually wouldn't have minded the random cruelty of Nilas' death but what absolutely boiled my piss was the total lack of acknowledgement of his fate in an episode that was supposed to be all about blood debts....but I am over it now. The pretty boys are pretty and the trio bonding was super spiffing. I am expecting a great deal of shirtlessness next week by way of compensation for everyone being dressed this ep. Pythagoras' collarbones are v. sexy though. Shirt drapage will never not be hot.

Lol! Damn him for remaining stubbornly clothed! Series 2, maybe...

At least Cyrus had some tears shed over him. And his killing had a motive at least. But I still miss him :(
I love Pythagoras' shirt :D Pretty collarbones ftw :)

Nilas really was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, and got horribly caught in the crossfire of other people's crap. Poor man.

Cheers!
It came to me that it actually works both ways. Perhaps Nilas was a bad man. We just don't know. After all, the Furies dropped Herc when they had him.
I'm sure Arcas will reappear next season but I suspect that the whole murder thing will never be mentioned again. (Except in fic, because J/P hurt/comfort is called for.)

Now, see exactly! That was what pissed me off about what happened to Nilas. The only reason why he died was for the plot/dramatic tension of showing that the Furies would kill innocent bystanders and not just necessarily the person they were targeting. But then they took Hercules and threw him back out again for absolutely no obvious reason. Gah! Inconsistent plotting is stupid and annoying and inconsistent!
Oh, god, I hope we never Arcas again, because he was sodding annoying. But yeah, I have a horrible feeling you're right, and the stuff with Pythagoras's father will now never be mentioned again.
