Title: Fixed single, Open return

Word count: 1000

Pairing: Tom Ryan/Stephen Hart

Rating: Gen

Trope Bingo: Cretaceous

A very slightly delayed ‘Happy Birthday’ to  goldarrow and a tiny Ryan/Stephen ficlet in lieu of cake. This fills the Cretaceous square on my bingo card.

Oh, that's lovely! And that final par is gorgeous. It's a fab story - hope mixed with realism.

Ryan and Stephen are definitely the pair I'd want to be stuck with in terms of survival prospects. Cheers for taking the time to comment.

Lovely, especially the last part. Hope the boys can get back and spend lots of time together.

They might never have made a move without being trapped - but, yes, hopefully they get home again.
Thanks for reading and commenting.

You know, there are times that I feel really sorry for the women at the ARC. All these glorious men and they only have eyes for each other. lol
This is wonderful. It's gentle and funny and full of hope. Well done.

*g* Especially as the women are all very, very lovely indeed! At least Jess lets them watch through the security cameras!

I think any random couple would end up tapping off eventually if trapped by an anomaly. Ryan and Stephen just got there very quickly. :)
(I like het. Would totally be up for a het challenge.)

Thank you so very much! That was quite lovely. Fun and angsty and hopeful all at once.

But then pretty and ideal were both words that Ryan had long associated with Cutter’s assistant.
*g* Ryan has good taste! And a fine pair of eyes.

He could have said crustacean meaning tasty as far as Ryan was concerned.
That made me giggle.

Love how you made them accept the reality without whining.
*sighs happily*

Belated reply! *g* I should probably thank you - birthdays and bingo are making me try a whole load of new pairings. Ryan and Stephen would be the best to be stuck with - calm, competent and pretty. :)
Hope you are still full of birthday loveliness. :)
