Finals this week... 3 down, 1 to go.

I can't really explain this, but I don't feel like a senior. I haven't, either. I remember looking up to the big guys last year and saying something like "Oh, I can't wait." The senior thing took a while to kick in, I don't think it did to the fullest,
until I was dating Eric and I realized how different our lives were,
just because of the things I was doing as a senior & the stresses I dealt with because of that.

I'm pretty anxiously excited about leaving.
I mean, I have that "Aaagh I'm gonna be on my own" anxiety,
but I'm ready to move on with my life after high school, you know?

I know the feeling of the anxiety and the stresses, and I am excited about not having to be in public school again... but you know how everyone is just like "Oh! We're graduating! Yay!" And I'm like "Yep.."

I just wish I could be as excited as everybody else.

I used to think maybe I should be that excited, but...I mean when you think about it, if anything we should be excited about the opportunities ahead of us. I'd rather be excited about what's ahead than what's passed.

Not that I don't think people should be excited, I just think that's why I'm focusing more on the excitement of college than on graduation.
