Your writing is a rare talent. Even when you write about sad things your writing is so beautiful and perfect I can hardly focus on the content. I hope you will write a book someday. I loved your analogy about your half-filled apartment. And I am sorry for your loss...

I've been in the position of having someone who once loved me (or thought they did, who can say) suddenly just not love me anymore. It is a sad, scary feeling, or at least it was for me. I'm sorry you had to go through that.
