Writing Assignment - Group Project

This is an open, long-term assignment. During a discussion, we suggested a series of shorts revolving around the events occuring in a fictional convenience store, similar to an AM/PM or 7-11. The stories do not need to involve the store directly, but try to be certain that it is seen or heard during the piece

Who starts? Or do we all write one and then branch off from there?

I think starting with 1 is for the best. In this case, first come, first serve would be best.

Please remember to add suggestions after an entry. Also, perhaps we ought to number the entries, definitely in the text or title, but also maybe in the subject line?
