Oh my, this is brilliant! I love time-loop stories, and this is one of the more original ones that I've read! Having Uther be the one to have to figure things out is sheer brilliance! Heh, totally loved that Kilgharrah got a bit of his own revenge in getting to off Uther a few dozen times. Bet that livened up his entire mood! :D

I love how there was no 'golden path' as it were. Uther made different choices, and ultimately found a path that didn't involve Morgana siding with Morgause and turning against him and Camelot, but doing so caused him to neglect Arthur to the point that when Uther finally spilled the beans about Ygraine, Vivienne, and such, Arthur decided to leave as well.

I was a bit sad to see that Morgause had created a spell to undo everything, to turn it all back to the way it was before, but still, it was a nice way to come full circle. Morgause created everything when she chose to meddle with time, so of course it would be her to end it.

Amazing story! Definitely one to bookmark! :)

Thank you so much! :D I love time loop stories too! When I saw the prompt, I had to do it.

Morgause always has her magic as a trump card, so she wasn't as motivated to change and learn as Uther was. That's why she lost Morgana, and she's completely willing to screw over everyone (Gwen especially) to regain the advantage at the end.

What?

But...

Okay, in the story in my head, everything is still returned to normal, but Uther (and maybe Morgause and Kilgarrah) gets to keep his character development, and use it in season three.

You made such a wonderful world. Thank you again for writing this.

Funny you should say that - I actually drafted an epilogue where all the characters are slightly influenced by this timeline, even though they don't remember it (a la Day Break). That interpretation is totally valid as far as I'm concerned, not that you need my permission or anything. :)

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment so thoughtfully. I'm really glad you enjoyed it! I sure did!

That was brilliant! I loved the different worlds, and the different ways the dragon killed Uther, LOL. It was all very original and glorious. Great work!

Thank you very much! I would have had the dragon kill Uther more, but that was as many different deaths as I could think of, haha. :)

Loved that Uther finally figured out everything and was trying to make amends for it all. I loved that Morgause was so frustrated when things didn't go her way, even with all her manipulations. Great job.

Thanks so much for commenting! Personally I think Morgause cares more about her plots than Morgana, and that's why she ultimately loses.
