MUV: Horohoro vs. Cirno

Sep 15, 2010 21:06

[Horohoro waits for Cirno on the football field, leaning against his snowboard. Kororo is already oversouled into it- force of habit from the shaman fights. He also brought his ikupasuy just in case, but he wonders if he'll have to use it. The snowboard OS is already pretty strong. Especially with his amount of furyoku. He comments absently to the ( Read more... )

Seriously?! I'm going easy on you!

[well he's not holding back with them, but he IS using his weakest attacks.

Anyway, he's not able to chase her as well with this form. She gets away for now... so he falls back down again, just watching. Seems like those blasts are all she can do, so he just has to be patient... maybe.]

[Once she's put a satisfactory amount of distance between them, she resumes her attack. Her aim - never the best to begin with - suffers at this distance, of course, but she tries to make up for it by firing a larger number of danmaku.]

[Wow, she can do THAT many? He freezes the danmaku heading toward him again, but more keep coming, so he ends up just straight up punching em as he moves forward again. Which has roughly the same effect. Being on the defensive annoys him though, especially since he doesn't really need to be. So instead of shattering the next wave of frozen danmaku, he just adds an extra puff of cold wind, hoping to send them straight back at her and have them explode in her face.]

[When Cirno sees her own danmaku hurtling toward her, it confuses her enough to give her a few moments' pause - really, she thinks, this is cheating; first he can destroy her danmaku and now he's throwing them back at her? - but when she snaps back into reality the bullets are too close to destroy, so she's got no choice but to dodge them. She lets up on her danmaku fire, concentrating on not getting hit.]

[dude as if he had any idea he was supposed to just dodge. That's stupid anyway!!

But in that case, he'll just rush right in like he tried before for another try at a direct punch]

[When Cirno notices Horohoro, she panics. There are too many things going on for her brain to follow: she's supposed to be dodging, this guy is blowing away her danmaku like they're nothing, and now he's making a rush for her again. A few of her own danmaku hit her, battering her around in the air for a moment, and though it's probably too late to get results she fires another stream of danmaku at Horohoro, moving to the side as quickly as she can.]

[Horohoro grunts loudly, the danmaku hitting him like strong punches, because he's not blocking them now. He has to focus on speeding up so he can end this already. The blows throw him a little off balance, but he finds himself within striking range nonetheless]

NIPOPO PUNCH!

[he yells out, swinging the statue-arm at Cirno.]

[Cirno veers to the left in an attempt to dodge, but the punch hits her hard in the side and she's thrown violently to the ground. A loud crack, the sound of bone breaking, resounds through the air. Cirno, barely conscious, forces herself onto all fours, but when she tries to stand she shrieks in pain and stumbles.

Her leg is broken and she can't stand, but she refuses to admit she's lost, continuing to fire danmaku at Horohoro. Her shots are barely heading in the right direction, some of them hurtling off with no chance of hitting anything at all, but she keeps shooting even though she knows it's hopeless.]

[It's not like this is the first battle related injury he's given, and it certainly wouldn't be the last. But still, he hangs back a ways, blocking any danmaku that DO come his way and just observing. Is he going to have to finish her off? This tournament is way less serious than the shaman fight, so he doesn't particularly want to...]
