Where are you finding $4.42? I got $4.54 the other day and was grateful already because I've seen $4.66 a bunch.
If all goes according to plan in about four months I'll be puttering around on a scooter instead. *crosses fingers* I can handle pumping supremium for 70+mpg.
See, you just have to go to the shitty part of town, where gas is $4.39. I have no idea how many condos I've rejected right out of hand because they were near Senter and Capitol.
I paid 4.75 today. 4.75. Granted, it was kind of a last resort, and I typically only get gas at Shell, and I had to resort to 76 because I was... running out of gas because I procrastinate.
BUT 4.75! I remember back when I USED to procrastinate and have to resort to a random gas station is would be like 2.25 >_
