I never managed to follow Merlin, but the episodes I've come across have been fun.

(fixed!) It's fun and dorkish (also in a WK kinda way, you know with the plot holes and the suspension of, well, everything) and the fandom has a knack for beautiful, epic fantasy and in line with Arthurian legend reincarnation and dystopias. Which is what I'm mostly here for.

Mm, I've read some nice Merlin fic; for some reason I can't seem to get into the thing itself though. Maybe it's more of a time thing? I also never knew much from Arthurian legend, that could be another factor.
(Wait, reincarnation and dystopia - was that in the same fic? 'Cuz, I could dig that. A lot.)
