It was only five seconds later that Amy answered, dressed not unlike she usually was, surprisingly. It was meant to be a simple date, at least on the outside. To Amy it was going to be the greatest night of her life. It had to be. How often did Sonic ask her out, after all?

If she was dreaming, she didn't want to wake up.

She was quick to give the blue hedgehog a hug, as always, vice grip as usual. "I'm so glad you're here on time. I just knew you wouldn't be late!" A moment later she let go and reached into her purse, pulling out his phone. It was, in fact, off. Like she said it would be. "Here you go. I promised I'd keep it safe."

She may have taken a picture or two with it, but she didn't expect Sonic to check that right away. Maybe not at all. That would hopefully be a surprise for after the date!

Sonic was relieved to see that she wasn't making a big deal of this. At least outwardly. He had no idea what she was thinking. When she pulled away from him and held out his phone he took it and gave her a grin. "Hey, thanks!" He'd been a little worried at first, but as he powered it on, it seemed fine.

"Well, I'm assuming you're ready to go? Any place in particular ya wanna go to eat?"
