I read about that Facebook thing (I'm not a user) and apparently a lot of people are really pissed about it. Something like 55,000 people have signed a petition to have it taken down. But what I don't understand, which is the question everyone is asking, is why are people getting so ticked off when nothing that they don't already post is being broadcast?

I'm not about to get an account just to find out if it really sucks or not.

Yeah, I don't really care that people can see what I've posted whenever I post it, but it's just irritating to be overloaded with a bunch of useless shit I don't care about every time I sign in. It also made the site a lot more difficult to navigate and it just seemed to clutter the pages. Whatever, it's a silly website. People like to get worked up over silly things.
