I wonder if I should be worried about the fact that Anubis' pain meds mostly wound up on my face this evening.

I wouldn't. It's such a small amount that it's not going to do anything to you.

I tried to get most of it in his mouth, but getting the antibiotics in was hard enough. I wound up rubbing my hand on his face so he would lick the rest of it off.

I've done weirder things than that.

The first round of antibiotics, he was all 'fuck that, I'm going to let it dry on my fur' and then I wiped him with a warm wet washcloth and he did the whole 'ew mom, gross!' thing.

Now he licks himself. He's always been a fastidious groomer.

And he's been playing a ton tonight, so I'm guessing that he's feeling a lot better. :)
