Get chuck something called Breathe Right strips. Its like a sticking plaster reinforced with plastic strips that are attached across the nose.

It helps keep the nasal passages open so that when they relax during the night, he won't snore like a chainsaw!

I had an operation on my nose to correct my deviated septum, but before surgery I used breathe right strips. They work, they are a pita but they do work and he will feel better for it too!
