It's been a long time since I'd read the books, but your story reminded me of the Mistryl ways and the professionalism tinged with attraction between these two. The intrigue really worked in this story, and I could understand all what Karrde wanted to find out without a humongous bit of exposition. Good!

So, I just found out about your fics thanks to posting a request on a fic comm for Karrde/Shada, and... :D :D They're my favorite couple, probably because they're so overlooked, and I adore how you write them. This was brilliant, all of them are. :)
