This was really good action writing, raw and real. I'm thinking that Mara must really be something if she can not only deal with Jacen efficiently but Lumiya? Wow. Plus keep the secret from Ben for a little while longer, anyway.

Very descriptive story, you're very good at writing all the action scenes.:) And also very intriguing to wonder where the characters would be now if everything had happened this way instead of how it did in the books. It's great to see a story about these characters, there's not nearly enough of them on LJ.

This was intense! Gah, Mara shouldn't have died! She was so cool and such a strong female character. When everyone else was clueless she knew what was going on with Jacen. Good work on the details - slurring with the toxin. Poor Ben will still need hours of therapy.

I definitely agree re: Mara dying. I was in enough denial that I refused to read that part of Sacrifice until I had to -- so that I could write this fic and "fix" it.
