Well, I've gone and gotten myself a lovely case of Swimmer's Ear. Ouches. I just knew something like this would happen the minute I move away from the Student Health that was conveniently located two blocks up the street from my apartment. Despite the pain, it's still worth it to have rid myself of that horrid farmer's tan ( Read more... )

If for no other reason, I want to become a successful writer so that I can somehow defeat her. God, yes. I am so with you on that, sister.

i'm so guilty... my best friend's little sister went on how the books were amazing, so she let me borrow them and i read them!

they are frustrating as heck, i must admit... but Robert Pattinson made it somehow worth it! :/

Robert is sooooo pretty. I'm almost tempted to see the movie if only for him. Yum.

I don't get Stephanie Meyer love either...so many of done it before so much better. The sad thing is that the books could be mediocre and I would not care, but the fact that they are horrid and everyone's gushing about them (not only the 13 year olds) makes me throw up a little every time.

Yeah, the only thing original about her vampires is that they glitter. And glitter vampires are only acceptable if they're members of a glam rock band. XD

I am mocked by the stacks of her books at the entrance to every bookstore I enter and by all the gushing thirteen-year-olds I encounter. If for no other reason, I want to become a successful writer so that I can somehow defeat her.

Jubilee, are you me? Are you me? Because I could not better express my thoughts than with those words.

I think so! At first I used to gag and recoil at the sight of those signs, but now I just...I just sigh.

are you trying to tell me that you spent 4 years living within like 2 seconds of the beach and you still have/had a farmers tan?
