Welcome to startrekland! A challenge community for The Original Series of Star Trek, and the 2009 movie by JJ Abrams.

What is startrekland?
It's a challenge community inspired by jjverse, whedonland, scifiland, and so on. This one is focused on the Star Trek franchise. There are three teams: teambridge, teammedicalbay, and teamengineering.
Do I need to be interested in them all to join?
No. Most challenges will be able to be done in any Star Trek.
So how do I play?
First you need to apply to join a team. Then you will recieve an invitation to your team community, and you can start participating in challenges! You will need to watch this community so as to see the challenges when posted, you can also track the community so you receive an email notification whenever a new entry is posted here at startrekland.
How do I enter challenges?
There will be instructions included with every challenge as to how to complete the challenge. Those posts will tell you what is expected for you to do to receive points.
What do I do if have questions?
Each challenge post will have a thread for questions, and there is also the page-a-mod post, where you can take general community questions and queries.
How often do I need to participate?
Ideally you should participate in a challenge at least once every two weeks, any longer than that, and you will be removed from the team, and the community. If you cannot participate for any length of time, you can be put on hiatus, so you will not be removed. Also, if you wish to leave the community at any time, you can leave a comment to the page-a-mod post. If you wish to go on hiatus, please leave a comment at the same post.

It is a social community for all members regardless of their team to get together, and talk about anything they like. Watch alongs, Star Trek discussion, spam parties, whatever you want. Sometimes there will be challenges that will need their entries to be posted there. Please keep it as related to Star Trek, and this community as possible, but it can be a little off topic if you wish.
