Hi, I'm new to the fandom and Star Trek in general so I was wondering about claiming. Are authors going to post which trek their stories are based on or what they prefer, such as reboot or next generation, etc? The reason is is I'm more familiar with the reboot and I don't want to claim a fic and intend to draw characters from reboot (chris pine) when the author intended the characters to be from the original series (william shatter). There is a lot of Trek and I just want to be clear about that. Thanks.

Yes, when authors turn in their stories they will fill out a header that specifies which series they've written for.
