A question

A dumb, dumb question of word choice.
You have an outside extension to a structure - like, a patio or a balcony or something. Patio, let's say. It is surrounded on all three exterior facing sides by some kind of /barrier/. It is tall - eight feet or so - and made of iron. It is a pretty solid barrier, although there are holes and shit, but it's ( Read more... )

Well, I'd just call it part of the patio honestly, one side overgrown with vegetation or something. Likewise, it'd be part of the balcony, although it'd be part of the balcony railing there.

But if you have to choose between the two, I say fence.
