I am in need of a hug, or a good romance novel. The book is preferable.

Like Diane Duane's Young Wizard series. I adore it, but the utter lack of romance pisses me the hell off. Would it kill her to get Kit a girlfriend or something ( Read more... )

1. I agree COMPLETELY about everyone on The OC being idiots. Can I murder them all already?

2. I feel your boofy hair pain.

And, finally, 3. I hope you actually know what the word accost means because I remember when I liked the word astigmatism but had no idea what it meant. That's no fun.

1) Sure!
2) That is the problem with having hair that does not stay in ponytails. It must be pigtailed (and/or then bunned). Then it goes boof.
3) Yes, I do. :P Dude, my optometrist said I may have astigmatism.

Hmm, for books, you tried the 'His Dark Materials' trilogy by Philip Pullman? They're excellent.

And the OC ROCKS! :P

Romance books?

Pretty Things by Sarra Manning, Born Confused by ... Someone-whose-name-I-can't-spell, Love and Other Excuses by Jane Westaway... There is a lot of romance in the world.

It's quite highly cool how I can just go on singing binges the day before a lesson on totally different songs to what I'm actually singing in the lesson and that seems to be enough practice to have suddenly drastically improved in the song.
Heh, I do that with Saxophone.

*defends her The O.C.* It is really very good.
