I got the jobs I wanted for Newsday in media! Sub-editor ftw. And features reporter because there weren't enough reporters. So I plan on writing about youth suicide so I can be lazy and use it as a basis for my Youth Parliament Press Gallery entry. Hmmm

The composition has to be an at least three-instrument theme inspired by a piece of artwork

When I saw this, I thought "fuck, three minutes?" My composition -- the first draft of which is due in Friday -- is 1.10 or something along those lines. And there's only a few more bars n the Cello part I want to add before I'm done.

Is photography still in black and white? If so, I'd go for the dandelion seeds. You just need to get up real close to them.

Are you having this problem with things other than LJ entries? XD There's nothing wrong with shortish composition as long as it shows development, my flute thing last year was pretty short. I wanna hear/see yours :)

Yeah, black and white all year (though we can do hand coloring, and one of the artist models I might do had a photo with bits painted in). I shall keep your vote in mind, thanks... Now I just need to find some dandelions. xD

My friend Elissa did an awesome one with her plant kingdom thing, pieces of fruit with sunlight and blinds=very cool patterns all around. I just did trees and got merit...

I catch them everywhere, and they really are everywhere! and also dandilions, I love those. I have had such debate over them recently.

And I think you would be great at the melbourne exchange. Since there is no way in hell that I would be chosen I couldn't be happier if you were chosen.
