Today I skipped the next two and a half years of college and had my first day at university. Victoria University, to be precise. It is, as was evidenced during our quick little tour, very big. I was lost in no time :) but I was so very pleased to see a BOOK SHOP! I gravitated towards it and looked all stalkerish through the door, the shop person ( Read more... )

Apparently every first year, upon seeing Mt Street Bar and Cafe, is supposed to go, "OMG THERE'S A BAR ON CAMPUS."

I think I am a disappointment to First Years everywhere. I've been to the Bar about twice.

I think I did some sort of science afternooon in year 10 at Vic. It's always very exciting.

Also, VicBooks is fabulous.

Excellent, we have got that shock over with three years in advance. The boys in my group were hatching plans to turn up to lectures drunk and the group leader told them that people do actually do that.

I did not actually go into VicBooks :( though we did later give a nice old Asian couple directions to it, they seemed to think we were students, this is what we get for being at Vic on new student orientation day.
