New Hacking Frontier

We're used to thinking of malicious hacking in terms of people breaking into databases and other systems for businesses, schools, hospitals, government agencies, etc. Theft of data, ransomware, etc. However, it now looks like industrial control systems, particularly embedded systems, are going to be the next big thing for hackers to attack.

Our local Walmart closed on Thursday due to computer issues. My husband said it wasn’t just ours, but worldwide. I wonder if Walmart got a hacker…?
