If this had been a normal year, we probably would've been in Detroit for Youmacon right now. But thanks to a communications issue, we seem to have lost that convention for the long term, so we're doing a different convention instead

Why on Earth would you hide a convention schedule? What possible sense does that make?

I don't know. But I don't know why they decided to not invoice me for my vendor booths last year, entirely based upon some people claiming I was saying bad things about them, without bothering to ask me my side of the story.

It really seems as though someone over there has gone mad.

Well, I don't know how your schedule looks for early next year, but there's always Mike Williamson's Confinement in Lebanon, a bit east of Nashville. I went to an earlier Emergency Holographic Convention of his in Clarksville last fall and it was small but fun, lots of authors & book reading folks.
