That's really nice of the Uruguay FA. I hope videos will be allowed! It's working for rugby, it's already used to decide some sanctions, so I'm sure there's a way to use them to check an action.

That is nice of them, even if it's just a gesture. A couple of weeks ago there was an article going into detail on how the refs are chosen and that basically, just because it's a world cup doesn't mean at all that the best refs are selected. It explains a lot. D: Something needs to chance there, too - after all the problem of the offside goals, for example, can't easily be solved with technology either...
