Um, so, I wasn't planning on writing anything so soon but... here you go! XD A fluffy little piece for you~

“Did you ever think we’d make it this far?” Yasu asks on their fifth anniversary. Yasu makes sure they celebrate each other them. ‘Milestones’ he calls them, and Subaru insists he knows where they’re leading.
“I didn’t think, I knew,” Subaru replies around a mouthful of ramen.
Yasu laughs. “You did not,” he says, and hits Subaru’s shoulder playfully. Yasu remembers a time when he didn’t think any of this was possible, a time when Subaru didn’t believe in anything at all. They’ve come a long way.
Subaru stares at Yasu and sucks in a ridiculously large amount of noodles before saying, “I did too.”
“Gross,” Yasu comments, but he’s still laughing even as Subaru beams with bits of noodles hanging from his mouth.
“You love me,” Subaru says, and Yasu nods and leans in to kiss him on the lips.
It's like the two of them are completely in sync with each other, with one's movements flowing into the others in an easy back and forth. There's something almost reassuring in watching them, Jun thinks, like the predictability has long lulled them into the comfort of familiarity. Or maybe predictability isn't exactly the right word for them - with Nino’s knack for the shocking and unexpected and Ohno’s random bouts of spontaneity - but there is definitely a consistency to be observed, an inevitability.
Friday morning is the only day Jun and Nino share a shift at the bakery. It’s because weekends are busy and, though Jun has always been able to handle things fine by himself pre-Nino, Ohno insists that getting help for Jun on Friday morning was part of the reason why they had decided to hire somebody new in the first place.
“The kitchen is tiny,” Jun had tried to argue.
“So is Nino,” Aiba had remarked, and Ohno had beamed, and that was that.
Jun arrives first, ten minutes early as per usual. He unlocks the door, drops his jacket and bag in the tiny rest area annexed to the kitchen, starts up the coffee machine, then goes to change.
Two minutes is all it takes.
Two mere minutes.
But when he comes back Nino is seated comfortably, a smug look on his face, and a coffee mug in his hand. Jun’s coffee mug

“I want this,” Aiba says, uncharacteristically quiet.
Jun shakes his head, a snarky remark dying on the tip of his tongue when he notices just how serious Aiba looks.
“It’s impossible,” he says. “It’s just the way they are.”
I can’t give you that, he thinks.
