Uchi snorts as Ryo passes him by. “You’re going to strangle me with my shoes?”
“Don’t try me,” Ryo spits back.
He’s too tired for this, he thinks when Uchi only laughs back.

OMG He doesn’t say thanks, and Uchi probably doesn’t really expect him to, but he does poke Uchi’s foot with his own a few times during the meal, and by the end of it smiling seems easier
