Yeah. That's where I belong: Fuckup University. Dad wanted me to apply to UC-Berkeley. He really likes their engineering program and thought that it could be a really good fit for me. And I really wanted to make him happy, cause I know it would've, even if I didn't end up going there. But I've been screwing around and barely managing to get

That's what deadlines are. Sneaky as hell. I won't tell you not to worry -- but worry only as much as you need to in order to get things done. :) Any more than that is damaging; I'm sure you know all this already. I'm sure you also know that I think you're strong and more than capable of handling whatever gets thrown your way (or sneaks up on you). :)

Don't waorry Anna, I'm not doing it just for you. The schools sound really nice, from what you're telling me. I want to apply *somewhere* in SoCal, and these seem to be the best options. UCLA, SB and SD, aren't "reach" enough for it to be worth the money; Dad doesn't want me to go to USC 'cause it's in a "bad neighborhood", and Occidental doesn't have *any* engineering majors. Besides, they're right there with Cornell on the Common App. ^_^
