Oh godddddddd I just submitted my application to South Carolina's graduate school.

/brb throwing up

Now I need to get my letter of intent written up and get that and my transcript sent. I don't even know what else, I need to check. SWEET CHRIST I AM SO NERVOUS.

I am not very familiar with the US university system: what is exactly a Graduate School? A post-university degree course?

Exactly! There's undergraduate which is your usual four-year college degree, then graduate which I think usually takes about a year, and gets you a masters. After that it's Ph.D time.
