I think this has become a tradition for me... so, here are my thoughts on some of this year's Academy Award nominations:

Best Picture
Brokeback Mountain: Can't rightfully comment, because I've yet to pass a theater here in Alabama that's showing it. (Go figure.)

Brokeback Mountain is playing in the Birmingham, Mobile, Huntsville, and Tuscaloosa areas.

Yeah, Munich's been out for some time now. I saw it, and it's best not to take this movie seriously, rather look at as a peice of revisionist history. Anyways, I've given up on the Oscars because it's really nothing but self-aggrandizement by the stars. I mean who really watches the whole entire show anyways??

Hehe..sounds like a blast! ;)I can never stay focused when it's on because it's so slow and not that interesting because as I said before it's all an ego trip for everyone there.
