I just read on Outpost Gallifrey that the RSC production of King Lear with Ian McKellen, Sylvester McCoy, and a whole herd of awesome WILL BE COMING TO THE UNITED STATES.

I don't know when or where, but I am SO. FUCKING. THERE. This even trumps Phantom. I have told my husband this in no unconditional terms.

That sounds cool! I wonder if it will come to San Francisco or Los Angeles? I doubt it would make it to Seattle, but the West Coast is very do-able...

Someone put up a BBC interview Sylv did on youtube, and he specifically mentioned Minneapolis (of all places), but the video cut off right there. If it didn't go to either Los Angeles or San Francisco I'd be extremely surprised. I went looking for a tour schedule but there doesn't appear to be one yet. ;_;
