Paganini!

My teacher at my lesson on Thursday told me I was going to skip a bunch of songs in my book and I was surprised, but excited. Why? because I skipped ahead to Paganini's Witches Dance! She said based on my skills, song 2-7 don't really add much. She said if I were a child, then she would go through all of them ( Read more... )

Good luck at your high risk appt :) I'm sure you'll do great. I felt so dang miserable during my pregnancy and from your LJ posts yours seems to be going swimmingly! Everyone is different, even from pregnancy to pregnancy but I'm super happy for you. Get all the rest you can!

And also, D major is my favorite.

Thank you! I won't be seeing the doctor for that one, just getting an ultrasound for something they call a genetic scan. I have no idea what that is, but I already had my NT and ultrascreen.

Trust me, I am so surprised that it's been going so well. It was very exhausting and nauseating the first two weeks, but B6 has been a lifesaver as well as magnesium. Since I've been taking both, I can go to the bathroom like a normal person and I'm not nauseous at all. It's fantastic.

I still don't look pregnant and fit into my pre-pregnancy clothes. If it weren't for the positive tests and the ultrasound, I'd have no clue I was pregnant.

I like the challenge, though. Sometimes I get bored of doing the same thing over and over again. I've done the same exercise for months, so I am glad things have changed a bit.

I'm glad I am getting into more challenging songs and different keys. Flats on the violin are kinda of awkward compared to the piano, but practice makes perfect.

Only 13 more days until I see baby again, and this time my boyfriend is going to come with me. He's asking for a day off from work :)

Thank you! I know I can do it, too. I'll record it once I know the piece by heart.

He was never upset, but he was leaning toward me terminating the pregnancy. Once he saw how upset I was at the idea, he backed off. I can understand why he felt that way. Kids are expensive and we're due to buy a house soon, but we can make it work.
